📝 EXAMINATION & PROMOTION RULES

1. Assessment System

The school follows a continuous and comprehensive evaluation system, which includes periodic tests, class tests, projects, practicals, and term examinations. Assessment pattern will be as per the prescribed syllabus and guidelines of the concerned education board.

2. Examinations

Students must appear in all examinations and assessments scheduled by the school. Examination dates and syllabus will be communicated in advance through the school diary or official notice.

3. Attendance Requirement

A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory to be eligible to appear in examinations. Students falling short of attendance may be detained or not promoted as per school policy.

4. Admit Card / Identity

Students must carry their school ID card / admit card during examinations. Entry to the examination hall without valid identity may not be permitted.

5. Examination Discipline

  • Students must reach the examination hall at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
  • Use of unfair means, including copying, possession of books, notes, mobile phones, smart watches, or electronic devices, is strictly prohibited.
  • Any student found using unfair means will be disqualified and strict disciplinary action will be taken.

6. Absence in Examination

Absence from an examination on medical grounds must be supported by a medical certificate. Re-examination or retest will be granted only at the discretion of the school.

7. Result Declaration

Results will be declared as per the school academic calendar. The decision of the school regarding evaluation and results shall be final.

8. Promotion Criteria

Promotion to the next higher class depends on:

  • Regular attendance
  • Satisfactory academic performance
  • Discipline and conduct throughout the academic year

Students must secure the minimum required passing marks in each subject as prescribed by the school/board.

9. No Automatic Promotion

There is no automatic promotion. Students not meeting academic or attendance requirements may be detained in the same class.

10. Parents’ Responsibility

  • Parents are advised to regularly check their ward’s progress reports and attend PTMs.
  • Any query regarding evaluation must be raised within the stipulated time.

11. Final Authority

The decision of the Principal/Management regarding examination, promotion, detention, or re-test shall be final and binding.
